Meet the Missionary

After their first furlough in 2019 and 2020, they returned to the field during the COVID pandemic, waiting for the Lord to open the door for their move to Barahona. In January 2021, they settled in the new city and began laying the groundwork for the church plant. From March to December of that year, they met with a small group of people for Bible study until Iglesia Bautista Dios con Nosotros was officially organized on December 5, 2021.

Since then, they have continued to work and serve in the church. Over the past four years, God has worked through various services and outreaches, including children and youth activities, English classes, and camps. Their goal is to share the truth of the gospel with everyone who visits the church and to disciple the believers and help them grow in their walk with the Lord.

The Germano Family

Timothy and Stephanie Germano both had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and were saved as children. During their teenage years, God called them to be missionaries. They met during their time of training in Bible college and were married in January 2011. After serving on staff at his sending church from 2010-2013, Timothy resigned from the church to begin traveling on deputation. In 2013 and 2014, God blessed them with two children, Landon and Elena. They completed raising the necessary support in 2015 and moved to the Dominican Republic in the fall of that year. During their first term, they labored alongside a veteran missionary in Santo Domingo to better prepare and train for church planting.
